Whether with mobile payments, push notifications, drive-to-app initiatives or loyalty programs, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies have been fighting to take top position as the standard for consumer interactions between tech-to-tech devices. Most credit cards use NFC, as do most mobile devices (with few exceptions, notably Apple), and NFC m-payments are extremely popular in many Asian and European countries.
