New AI Partnership Tackles Hospital Challenges in Real Time
Vantiq is teaming up with Huron to deliver advanced agentic AI solutions. The initial phase of this relationship will focus on healthcare, leveraging Huron’s industry expertise with Vantiq’s technology to deliver solutions that transform hospital operations.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in bringing cutting-edge, real-time intelligence to industries where precision, adaptability and speed are essential to success, according to company officials. Operational and Clinical Command Centers (HCCs) use predictive insights, seamless communication and data-driven tools to proactively manage critical operations, including ICU capacity, equipment availability and care team coordination.
“In healthcare, every second matters, which is why we want to load these command centers with the most sophisticated real-time intelligence and predictive tools available today,” said Marty Sprinzen, co-founder and CEO of Vantiq. “This means care teams will no longer scramble to react to problems but will be empowered to anticipate and prevent them instead. From predicting ICU bed demands to ensuring equipment maintenance avoids costly delays, these command centers are redefining how hospitals operate.”
Vantiq and Huron officials plan to set an entirely new standard for innovation, adaptability and impact across industries, offering organizations real-time intelligence and collaborative capabilities that were previously unimaginable.
”Together Huron and Vantiq will deliver immediate access to real-time, intelligent solutions that empower organizations to operate with clarity and confidence in the most demanding situations,” said David Devine, managing director and healthcare digital leader at Huron.
Myriota Expands IoT Constellation with Four New Satellites
Myriota has added four new Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) nanosatellites to its global Internet of Things (IoT) constellation through its partnership with Spire. SpaceX launched the satellites that will add capacity for Myriota’s services, enabling expansion into Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and across the Middle East.
Spire first announced Myriota as a space service customer to deploy its IoT satellites in 2021. Myriota is now leveraging Spire’s existing satellite platform to scale its network over the next 12 months. Myriota recently raised a $32 million funding round, led by the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation and venture capital partners.
“The global market for satellite-based communications networks is seeing an explosion in technical breakthroughs and network expansions,” said Ben Cade, CEO of Myriota. “We are excited to be at the forefront of that, with an ultra-low power and highly secure IoT connectivity service that is already in widespread commercial use.”
The Myriota network supports industries like logistics, utilities, and agriculture by enabling global data monitoring and collection. It supports use cases like tracking, locating, and monitoring assets.
Sequans, Soracom Accelerate Global IoT Development with New Evaluation Kits
Sequans, a leading provider of cellular IoT semiconductors and modules, and Soracom, a global provider of cellular IoT connectivity with full MVNO capabilities, announced the expansion of their partnership to simplify the development of IoT projects by offering evaluation kits (EVKs) powered by Soracom’s global IoT connectivity.
IoT application developers now have access to Sequans’ leading LTE-M/NB-IoT and Cat 1bis technology, combined with Soracom’s global connectivity. The EVKs are available in two variants:

- LTE Cat 1bis (Sequans Calliope2 GC02S1 EVK): Featuring Sequans’ leading Cat 1bis technology, certified in North America and Europe. It can operate on any LTE network worldwide, ideal for deployments that require global coverage with cross border connectivity, such as connected vehicles, logistics tracking systems, and telematics.
Each kit comes with a Soracom global IoT SIM card preloaded with connectivity for up to 3 months, allowing users to benefit from cellular coverage in +170 territories, including LTE-M coverage in 51 territories and NB-IoT coverage in 35.
u-blox Expands Bluetooth LE Modules to Address Mass Market Segments
u-blox has expanded its portfolio by introducing six new variants of the NORA-B2 Bluetooth Low Energy modules. Now integrating the entire range of Nordic Semiconductor’s next-level nRF54L Series of ultra-low power wireless Systems-on-Chip (SoCs), NORA-B2 offers a versatile solution for mass market segments thanks to its choices of antennas, architectures and chipsets.
The new additions provide multiple operational benefits, combining ultra-lower power consumption and high processing efficiency to consume up to 50 percent less current than previous-generation devices while doubling process capacity. Among the features touted by company officials include security features, which makes them ideal for a wide range of IoT applications such as smart home devices, industrial automation, and healthcare.
The entire NORA-B2 series comprises four variants that differ in memory sizes, design architectures and price levels to match almost any device manufacturer’s requirements: NORA-B20; NORA-B21; NORA-B22; and NORA-B26. All NORA-B2 modules are designed for PSA Certified Level 3 security, incorporating features such as secure boot and updates, tamper detection, and secure firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updates. These security measures ensure that IoT devices remain protected against any potential threats, safeguarding both data and functionality.
NORA-B2 variants either come with an antenna pin for connecting an external antenna of choice or are designed with a patented PCB antenna providing best-in-class RF performance. All module versions come with global certification allowing device manufacturers to launch their products worldwide with minimal effort.
