RFID Journal LIVE! 2025: Doug Harvel, Kevin Berisso to Discuss Unlocking Real-Time WIP Visibility With RFID

Published: February 17, 2025

The 23rd edition of RFID Journal LIVE! 2025 is beginning to take shape. The world’s largest conference and exhibition focused on radio frequency identification and related technologies, LIVE typically features more than 100 exhibitors from 26 countries showcasing best-in-class RFID tags, readers, software and implementation services.

The show in 2025 will be held May 6-8 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The 2025 conference will include three days of industry-specific and how-to tracks, as well as general education for those new to the RFID market. Conference tracks and education sessions give participants the opportunity to hear compelling case studies, share best practices, network with their peers and learn about the latest technological advances from the vendor community.

RFID, IoT Inventory Management

“RFID and IoT in Warehouse and Inventory Management” will center on how most companies struggle with managing inventory in their warehouse. RFID represents an opportunity to greatly improve inventory visibility and management, and to automate some common tasks, such as receiving.

In this track, attendees will learn about the latest advances in RFID and IoT technologies for warehouse and inventory management within the supply chain. You’ll also take home some very practical tools, methods, and implementation best practices to get your project started on the right path immediately.

Track: Beyond the Pilot: Real World Implementations and Outcomes in Manufacturing

Session Title: Doug & Kevin Talk Shop: Unlocking Real-Time WIP Visibility With RFID

Date: May 6, 2:45 p.m.

Description: Industry experts Doug Harvel and Kevin Berisso join forces in this session to discuss how radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is successfully being used in the manufacturing industry for real-time WIP (work-in-progress) tracking. Learn how the use of RFID is enabling efficiencies in factories, warehouses and distribution centers and improving manufacturing capability while providing an automated solution that accurately collects the data in real time

Others tracks to be held during the conference include:

  • Tell Me More: Innovative Use Cases In Retail
  • Digital Product Passport: Gateway to Sustainability, Transparency
  • Beyond The Pilot: Real World Implementations and Outcomes in Manufacturing
  • Future Fight: Harnessing Technology to Improve Readiness in Aerospace and Defense
  • IoT, ChatGPT? Blockchain? AI? NLP? What Do I Do with This Stuff
  • Enhancing Supply Chain Resilience: What’s AI And ML Got to do With It
  • Utilizing Cutting-Edge Solutions in Healthcare, Food and Pharma
  • Workshop: Navigating Healthcare, Food and Retail Compliance-The Evolution of Data Carriers and EPCIS to Help Meet Supply Chain Regulation.
  • Digital Doppelgangers: Powering Operations with Digital Twins and Gen AI

RFID4U Training

In addition to track sessions, LIVE! 2025 will present an advanced, one-day fast-track RFID certification course, presented by RFID4U, covering the latest equipment and relevant RFID deployment scenarios. This course will provide a solid foundation to design, install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot RFID deployment, as well as prepare participants for the RFID Professional Institute Certified Associate exam. Each participant will receive a voucher to take the exam online, after the event.

RFID Awards

RFID Journal Awards 2025 is now accepting nominations for its annual awards that are handed out at RFID Journal LIVE! 2025. The awards, in their 19th year, recognize outstanding achievements in RFID and related technologies.
