The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) supports the needs of those who have served in the U.S. military. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), an agency within the VA, is one of the largest health-care providers in the United States, with 152 hospitals and 784 outpatient clinics. The VHA is currently in the process of installing RFID-based real-time location systems (RTLS) at some of its facilities, and is looking to hire two health-care technology managers for RTLS technology.
These VHA technical specialists will be located at its central office, in Washington, D.C., but the agency will consider professionals who can work remotely. According to the VHA, “the position requires broad scientific, technical and clinical knowledge, along with product-management skills, to support this broad area of health-care technology management.” The salary range is $96,690 to $125,695 per year.
