Using RFID to Improve Efficiencies in Transportation and Manufacturing

RFID is successfully being utilized to create efficiencies and cost savings, and to improve data collection in businesses and government agencies around the globe. From inventory management to moving goods throughout the supply chain, to collecting and managing the data about those goods, RFID has been shown to dramatically reduce costs, lead times and shrinkage, as well as increase throughput, as a result of better inventory visibility. The presenter will show how companies in the manufacturing and transportation industries, along with the United States Marine Corps, are successfully leveraging RFID to gain greater visibility into their supply chain.
