Using RFID to Become Compliant and Improve the Supply Chain

Conair offers a variety of products, from personal grooming tools to upscale kitchen appliances. Faced with meeting retailers’ RFID mandates, the company had the daunting task of tagging the cases and pallets it shipped without incurring high costs. Conair currently source-tags all products supplied to Sam’s Club at the item level, and is ready to do the same for Wal-Mart and others. In this session, learn how and why the firm developed a suite of solutions ranging from item-level labels for source tagging to EPC-compliant high-security cargo seals and cargo GPS devices.
