Using BSN’s Eprint Solutions In Order to Combat Counterfeit Products and Drive Consumer Engagement Applications

Published: July 1, 2019

The session is aimed at Brand Owners, and Retailers, who may be interested to learn how flexible inexpensive NFC chips will offer a cost-effective way of Brand Protection and Consumer Engagement during the sales process. Eprint is a set of RFID NFC solutions which are based on ‘Printed Electronics’ flexible, non-silicon chips. These new chips and solutions will soon be available from BSN at a price point that is 50% lower than that of traditional NFC RFID silicon-based tags and labels. Eprint applications are designed to work on a smartphone device and may be used to authenticate products. Thereby providing a powerful and cost-effective means of combating counterfeits in the supply chain and on the store shelf. In addition, by simply tapping their smartphones onto an Eprint tag or label, consumers will be able to trigger sales and product promotion videos. BSN is now looking for early adopters to consider running Eprint Pilots within their enterprise.
