eProvenance, a startup company, recently introduced a service that tracks, authenticates and monitors bottles of wine through the combined use of semi-active and passive RFID tags, as well as specialized ink. This unique method utilizes a temperature-tracking tag placed within each case of wine. In this session, hear how passive tags can be employed to identify and authenticate items, and to link them to particular temperature-tracking tags, as well as to the shippers, distributors or brokers handling them.
