RFIDJournal.com will be hosting a webinar on July 10 focused on how work-in-progress (WIP) tracking is currently being used in manufacturing.
Titled “Revolutionizing Manufacturing: Leveraging RFID for Real-Time WIP Tracking and Beyond,” the hour-long scheduled webinar will feature a panel discussion that dives into the transformative potential of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology for WIP asset tracking within the manufacturing industry.
Richard Woodburn, business development, passive RFID, Zebra Technologies Corp., will be one of the four panelists for the webinar. Woodburn is responsible for business development of Zebra’s passive RFID reader products within retail, manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation and logistics markets. With more than 30 years of RF industry experience, including previously running Zebra’s active RFID product portfolio, among Woodburn’s many career accomplishments is in 2004 while at WJCI he defined and brought to market the industry’s first mobile, EPC class 0/1, PCMCIA RFID reader.

Throughout this webinar, the panelists will explore the practicalities of implementing RFID solutions, addressing challenges, building a strong business case, and scaling for complex operations.
