The University of Arkansas has launched a comprehensive four-day RFID Executive Education program focused on the business value of radio frequency identification. The course is aimed at retailers and retail suppliers looking to understand how to determine the business case for using the technology within their operations.
“We felt there was a need in the marketplace for educating senior executives who want to understand how this technology can benefit their companies,” says Justin Patton, managing director of the university’s RFID Research Center. “We’re bringing in professors from the university with expertise in RFID, industry experts who have already deployed the technology, and technology professionals, to provide a full and comprehensive understanding of the technology.”
