September 24, 2004—The University of Wisconsin’s Madison campus will give a preview of its new RFID laboratory this week at the university’s annual E-Business Best Practices and Emerging Technologies Conference. The conference is put on by the University of Wisconsin’s E-Business Institute, whose current initiatives include the RFID Industry Workgroup, founded in 2003. The RFID lab will allow workgroup participants to collaboratively experiment with, design, and test systems using radio frequency identification technology.
