October 7, 2004—A new study by Unisys indicates that almost half of high-level executives in the U.K. still don’t know what RFID is. But among the 57% that do, half are already using the technology. The numbers also reinforced a commonly held understanding in the RFID industry: some vertical industries are adopting the technology faster than others.
