PervasID, a spin-out company from the University of Cambridge, provides unique long range accurate passive radio frequency identification (RFID) real-time tracking solution for several applications including retail and logistics. The PervasID solution is fully automated using next generation fixed ultra high frequency (UHF) RFID readers that are based on its patented passive RFID reader technology. The system can achieve an outstanding >99% detection accuracy, while being capable of scaling to cover large buildings. The Company is rapidly growing and has secured several customers including a major blue chip retailer who is looking at utilising PervasID solution to improve inventory monitoring and stock control.
