Robert Urwiler is responsible for all aspects of technology enablement at Vail Resorts. Vail pioneered the use of UHF RFID in the ski industry through the creation of its award-winning EpicMix mobile and Web application, which is used by more than 700,000 customers across the company’s portfolio of ski resorts. Robert is a co-inventor of U.S. patent #8,669,845, covering “RFID Skier Monitoring Systems and Methods,” and holds a Ph.D. degree in information systems from Nova Southeastern University.
