We do not conduct market research, but there are firms that perform those kinds of studies, such as ABI Research and VDC Research. Based on our interactions with sellers and buyers, I would say Avery Dennison is by far the largest provider of tags and inlays. Smartrac was one of the top providers, but it is now owned by Avery Dennison. Alien Technology is a leading tag provider, as is Invengo.
There are many other companies that provide tags and inlays, as well as specialized tags, such as those designed to work on metal or survive high heat. I hope this helps, and that we’ll see you at RFID Journal LIVE! 2020 in September, where you can meet with many of the top RFID tag manufacturers.
