May 25, 2017RFID Journal announced today that some 3,000 industry professionals from around the world came together at RFID Journal LIVE! 2017, the world's premier conference and exhibition focused on radio frequency identification (RFID) and its many business applications. LIVE! 2017, RFID Journal's 15th annual event, was held on May 9-11 at Arizona's Phoenix Convention Center. The event featured eight industry-specific and technical conference tracks, as well as eight in-depth preconference seminars and workshops, four post-conference seminars, the 2017 RFID Journal Awards, fast-track training provided by RFID4U and RFID Professional Institute certification. LIVE! was also co-located with the IEEE RFID 2017 event. The exhibit hall featured more than 200 of the industry's leading technology firms, from 25 countries.
Attendees at this year's event came from 60 countries, representing more than 1,200 companies in 40 different industries. These included aerospace, apparel, automotive, computers and high-technology, electronics, finance, government, health care, manufacturing, military and defense, retail and transportation.
"We are seeing more industries and more companies in each industry embrace RFID as a solution for tracking a wide variety of assets," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "Companies attending this year had specific projects in mind and were able to find specific solutions to their business issues. It is great to see RFID delivering value to these companies."
