Protecting the Food Chain With Electronic Traceability

The Norwegian eTraceability Project is a national joint venture between Norway’s government and the food industry to develop and implement national electronic traceability in the food value chain. In this session, hear how the Ministries of Agriculture and Food, Fisheries and Coastal Affairs, and Health and Care Services are collaborating with the nation’s Food Safety Authorities, primary food producers, and the retail and wholesale industry to have efficient electronic traceability in place by the end of 2010.
