How can I obtain prices on the equipment I am looking for?
Most companies don't publish list prices on their Web sites, though you can get some pricing information from third-party Web sites, such as BuyRFID and rfidusa.com.
Pricing depends heavily on volume. If you purchase 100 readers, for instance, the price will be lower than if you buy just two. And the same is true with tags. For large orders—more than, say, 1 million—tag price can be significantly cheaper than for small orders.
