Ask The ExpertsWhere Can I Find Test Equipment?
RFID Journal Staff asked 14 years ago

We need a high-speed quality check to ensure that chips and antennas are intact and functioning after being processed into cards. I have searched, but can not seem to find a reliable company that supplies such test equipment. Does anyone have a source or a direction I should be going in?

George Schmitt & Co. has designed and patented proprietary equipment and systems for the testing and assembly of ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) and high-frequency (HF) RFID labels and tags. The company can test at all UHF global frequencies (840 to 954 Mhz), because it has an FCC Experimental License to allow it to test at international frequencies. If you are using HF tags, Schmitt can test ISO 15693-based inlays, labels or tags, and could equip its qualifiers to test such items if a qualified business need presented itself.
