There are a few companies that only sell RFID application software, such as OATSystems. There are firms that market software, hardware and services, such as Vue Technology (now part of ADT) and Xterprise. And there a fairly large number of businesses in the active RFID market that sell complete solutions.
The right software provider really depends on your particular application. You can search our Buyer's Guide for any or all of the following:
• RFID-enabled manufacturing applications
• RFID-enabled supply chain applications
• RFID-enabled warehouse-management applications
• RFID-enabled enterprise applications (other)
I would also suggest you search our site for the specific application you have in mind. If you seek an inventory-management solution, for instance, type "inventory management" into the search-engine box at the top of any page, and the results will lead you to stories pertaining to that specific application.
