To be honest, I really don’t know, as it’s a term we don’t use, and one that is not precisely defined. It could mean tagging medical devices, such as pacemakers and stents. It could also refer to tagging patients within hospitals. Or it could refer to tagging medical supplies. All of these applications are being done successfully.
