RFID Labels Track Single Doses of Propofol

IoT/NFC Safeguards People Living with Dementia

Approximately 40,000 people with dementia go missing for the first time every year in the United Kingdom. The Avon and Somerset Police Force is helping families and the wider community locate missing individuals who live with dementia, or who may require assistance while out in the community. Find out about the police force’s Dementia Safeguarding Scheme, an IoT-based solution designed to reduce the number of people living with dementia who were reported as missing. The system safeguards such individuals in public settings, while allowing citizens to assist them by contacting next of kin.
