Dear Valued Customer,

Avery Dennison has added AD-680, a high performing, cost-effective, solution to its patented slotted-loop (sloop) design family of UHF RFID inlays. The ISO-18000-6C, EPC Class 1, Gen2 and RAIN RFID* compliant inlay, offered exclusively by Avery Dennison, features a unique single dipole design, which enables orientation insensitivity and outstanding edge read performance for a wide variety of tagging applications. An economical alternative to costly dual-dipole antenna designs, the AD-680 inlay is available in two chip formats: Monza r6 and Monza r6-P.

AD-680 is Avery Dennison’s recommended tagging solution for supply chain management, asset tracking, and package tracking applications due to its exceptional, field-proven omnidirectional reads. The 2 x 2 in (50 x 50 mm) antenna has been tuned for optimization on substrates typically encountered in these types of applications including corrugate, plastic, and glass – maximizing performance across multiple markets.

AD-680r6 operates at global frequencies (860 – 960 MHz), and is equipped with the Impinj Monza® R6 integrated circuit (IC). AD-680r6 provides 96-bits of EPC memory and up to 2.1 dB improvement in read/write sensitivity vs. the Impinj Monza 5 tag chip. An r6-P chip format is also available, offering up to 128-bits of EPC memory and up to 64-bits of user memory. The r6-P chip also features kill password and access password capabilities.
