Ernesto Castagnet has worked in the auto-ID industry since his studies at Ohio University, where he served as the technical director of the Center for Automatic Identification, Education & Research (CAIDER). Before founding his own company, he worked for Sulzer and Dow Chemical Co. (formerly PBB Polisur), where he gained experience in the oil, gas and utility industries. He also serves as a professor at Universidad Nacional del Sur (UNS) and Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN)-FRBB, specializing in subjects related to industrial organization and strategic planning. He is the co-founder of the RFID Professional Institute, an AIDC 100 member and a partner-manager of INSIS SRL. Ernesto has a degree in industrial engineering and an MSc. degree in industrial and manufacturing systems, engineering (IMSE).
