The past few months have been very exciting for all of us at RFID Journal . We’ve been working behind the scenes to completely redesign and reprogram the RFID Journal Web site, to make it easier to use and provide additional resources for the more than 150,000 people who visit it monthly.
You’ll find the same clean look and well-organized content, but we’ve added new tools and improved several existing ones to help you get the information you need quickly. We’ve added some new features to make the site easier to use and to help those just learning about RFID get up to speed quickly. Here are some of the major improvements to the site.

Tools
Career Center: The RFID Career Center is designed to connect employers who need to hire skilled RFID professionals with those seeking new opportunities. It allows readers to post resumes and jobs anonymously. Posting a resume is free and includes other features, such as job alerts. RFID Journal subscribers receive discounts on all jobs posted.
Article Tools: A new tool bar in every article includes options that let you increase or decrease the size of the type on screen. If you are a subscriber, you can also create a PDF of an article and download it to your hard drive with one click.
Find a Vendor: Our RFID vendor search engine has been redesigned to make it easier for you to find the companies by type of product, service or technology offered.
Request a Quote: Our RFQ system has been totally redesigned and streamlined, to enable you to identify companies that can meet your requirements from the more than 500 in our database and quickly send them a request for quotation, information or proposal.
New Features
Live Glossary: Click on a highlighted term in any article to see its definition. If you are familiar with most RFID terms, you can turn Live Glossary off by clicking on “definitions off” in the Article Tools toolbar.
Getting Started: If you are new to RFID, this step-by-step guide will help you get up-to-speed quickly.
White Papers: This new section is a library of submissions received from academics, consultants and other experts. You can download industry white papers selected by RFID Journal editors.
