Its only that RFID-Tags are independently used. Whereas, Tag-Inlays are always used with Labels. Labels with Tag-Inlays are referred as RFID-Labels.
RF-Information in RFID-Tag is encoded/written through RFID-Writer-devices (eg. mobile devices with RF writing/reading feature).
RF-Informtion in RFID-Label is encoded/written through RFID-Printers on the Tag-Inlay side of the RFID-Label.
Labels are the sticker-media used in Barcode-Printer to print the material/inventory information on one-side of the media. Other-side of the Label is stickable, used to stick printed information.
Label::Barcode-Printer is very much analogous to Paper::Commercial-Printer.
RFID-Printers functions same as any other Barcode-Printers with an additional feature of RF-Information-Encoding (ie. writing data on RFID Tags). So, the Labels (stciker-media) used in RFID-Printers comes with one-printable-side and the other-RFID-Tag-side.
Such Labels are referred as RFID-Labels and the RFID-Tags on these Labels are referred as Tag-Inlays.
RF-Information from both RFID-Tags and RFID-Labels is retrived from RFID-Reader device.
