>> Tracking surgical instruments
By G. Batten 2006-09-26 07:54:27 AM
About 20 years ago a MD friend of mine identified the need for fail safe sponge tracking and came to me for possible solutions. For various reasons, we were not successful. RFID technology should make that possible. He is much too old now to continue this project. I would welcome an opportunity to work with interested surgeons to develop this technology. Please contact Gene Batten at BattenProducts@charter.net or call 919-639-6266. Batten Products is a "low profile" product design and development organization.
