Feb 15, 2017Griswold Water Systems recently implemented IoT-based methods to prevent outbreaks of Legionnaires Disease. GWS has found a new, chemical-free way to treat the water used in cooling towers for commercial buildings. It replaced antiquated treatment methods with connected sensors, powered by Autodesk, that purify the water with electric fields. The process uses 28 percent less water and can save its customers more than $25,000 annually. (4 pages)
