Since 2007, Roger Blazek has been a key visionary driving Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s expansion into RFID. With the support of Bloomingdale’s senior management and with the assistance of his shortage-control team, Blazek developed the strategy for the retailer’s use of RFID, and ensured that the project met measurable goals. In this three-part video series, recorded at RFID Journal LIVE! 2013, he explains how he first recognized RFID’s potential for retailers, developed a strategy that would support Bloomingdale’s brand, obtained senior management buy-in and managed an initial pilot and process change.
