I am unaware of any businesses that sponsor RFID-related studies, so I reached out to Pankaj Sood, founder of the McMaster RFID Applications Lab at McMaster University, to ask his advice. He says it is very difficult to find funding for a Ph.D. degree. Your options would be to apply for a scholarship at the specific university that you have identified, apply for a government scholarship offered by your home country, or find a supervisor who has a funded project and requires new students.
