September 27, 2004—The annual EPCglobal US Conference is being held in Baltimore this week from Tuesday to Thursday. EPCglobal is working to develop commercial standards around RFID that many expect to rapidly accelerate and facilitate the adoption of radio frequency identification across the supply chain. This week’s conference will bring together all those affected by EPCglobal’s work, from vendors to end users. A number of RFID suppliers are expected to make important announcements, and more than 1,000 attendees are expected.
