RFID Journal announced today that registration is now open for next year’s RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition. The event will be held on May 9-11, 2017, at Arizona’s Phoenix Convention Center.
RFID Journal LIVE!’s conference program will provide attendees with the opportunity to choose from more than 100 conference sessions focused on radio frequency identification business applications. Leading end users and RFID experts will share powerful new case studies and discuss best practices and deployment strategies. The exhibit hall will feature 200 exhibitors from around the world, and will enable business professionals to compare prices and view the latest RFID innovations in one place. Additionally, the event will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to network with thought leaders who are using RFID to drive business value for their companies.
The conference, cornerstone-sponsored by Zebra Technologies, will offer eight conference tracks, eight in-depth preconference seminars and workshops, four post-conferences and fast-track certification training presented by the RFID Professional Institute and RFID4U. It will also feature the RFID Journal Awards and the co-located IEEE International Conference on RFID 2017.
The conference tracks will cover defense and aerospace, health care and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, retail and apparel, and technology and infrastructure, as well the Internet of Things, innovation, and supply chains and logistics.
The preconference seminars will provide in-depth education regarding RFID’s use in such areas as energy, mining and construction; IT; warehouse and inventory management; and smart cities. RFID Journal University will provide an introduction to RFID for those just learning about the technology, while additional preconference seminars will focus on RFID’s use for such applications as medical device management, industrial sensors, and item-level retail and apparel. Post-conferences will include two master classes—one for RFID application developers, the other about benchmarking ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID—as well as the Asset Tracking Workshop and the RFID Strategic Workshop.
Attendees registering early will have the opportunity to save more than $500 off regular rates for the RFID industry’s most important conference and exhibition. Additional information regarding LIVE! 2017 can be found at rfidjournalevents.com/live.
