RFID Journal announced today that Motorola Solutions, a leading provider of passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID technology, has signed on to be the cornerstone and registration sponsor of RFID Journal LIVE! 2014. This event—RFID Journal‘s 12th annual conference and exhibition—is said to be the world’s premier event focused on RFID and its many business applications.
LIVE! 2014 will be held on Apr. 8-10, at the Orange County Convention Center, located in Orlando, Fla. The conference will feature four industry-specific and four technical conference tracks, as well as eight in-depth preconference seminars and workshops, four post-conference seminars, fast-track training offered in partnership with RFID4U, the RFID Journal Awards and one co-located event, IEEE RFID 2014. In addition, the conference will offer exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the industry’s leading technology firms.
Motorola Solutions is a major provider of fixed, handheld and mobile RFID readers based on the Electronic Product Code (EPC) standard for passive UHF RFID. Many retailers currently adopting the technology for item-level adoption are standardizing on Motorola readers.
