August 25, 2004—A new company named NEXT GENeSYS was formed this week by the four-way merger between FutureCom Global, CareDecision, CareGeneration, and KCWG Pharmaceutical Solutions. The new company, which will make heavy use of RFID to sell prescription drugs by mail to uninsured individuals, has a predicted market capitalization of $65 million. The company hopes to leverage RFID and other wireless applications to succeed where others failed in providing pharmaceuticals by mail.
