Wi-Fi-connected devices already outnumber people on the planet. Soon, each of the world’s 500 million Wi-Fi-enabled households will have dozens of devices that exchange information, optimize energy usage and make our lives more convenient. Many of these connections will be machine-to-machine, while others will enable new ways for people to control and interact with the world around them.
