Among the products on exhibit at its 13th annual conference will be CAEN RFID's intrinsically safe handheld reader and Keonn's interactive display for cosmetics.

RFID Journal announced today some of the new products that will be exhibited at this year's RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition focused on radio frequency identification (RFID) and its many business applications.

LIVE! 2015 will be held on Apr. 15-17, at California's San Diego Convention Center. The exhibit hall will feature more than 200 leading technology firms and RFID solution providers, covering all types of RFID technology, including passive low-frequency (LF), high-frequency (HF) and ultrahigh-frequency (UHF), as well as every flavor of active RFID and real-time location system (RTLS) technologies.

RFID technology is evolving quickly, and solution providers are introducing a new wave of highly innovative products for new applications, designed to make deployments easier and less complex. Some of the products that attendees will be able to view at LIVE! include:

CAEN RFID's qIDminiT: The qIDminiT is an intrinsically safe handheld RFID reader, designed for use in such hazardous areas and harsh environments as offshore, marine, chemical and industrial.

Keonn Technologies' AdvanLook-LT: Designed for use with cosmetic products, this interactive display enables customers to simply place a product on the device's tray to learn about treatment benefits, gain expert advice, view videos showing how to use that product and read about other recommended items.

Siemens' Latest UHF Readers: The newest generation of Siemens' UHF readers comprises three devices with different functions and performance categories.

Smartrac's Sensor DogBone: Smartrac has launched the Sensor DogBone, the industry's first passive UHF moisture-sensing inlay.

Technology Solutions (UK) Ltd.'s 1166 Bluetooth Rugged UHF RFID Reader: TSL's 1166 reader is waterproof and dustproof (thanks to an IP68 sealing), has a 2-meter (6.6-foot) drop specification and features a high-capacity battery enabling up to 20 hours of run time.
