I reached out to GS1 and MET Labs to find out if such testing has been performed, but it appears that it has not. MET Labs conducts a great deal of environmental testing, such as ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), temperature, humidity, shock absorbance and more, but not ultrasonic or magnetic particle testing. If any of our readers have heard of such testing being conducted, they are invited to please post information below.
