RFID Journal announced today that to commemorate the 10th year of its prestigious RFID Journal Awards, the company has invited past winners from across a variety of industries to discuss how the technology has evolved throughout the past decade. Attendees will hear how they view the current state of radio frequency identification and the Internet of Things, and how their forward-thinking organizations are planning to use RFID in the future to achieve even greater benefits.

The panel will include such industry leaders as Carlo Nizam, Airbus‘ head of ICT digitalization, Richard Jenkins, Marks & Spencer‘s head of RFID strategic development, and Robert Urwiler, Vail Resorts‘ CIO.

Submissions for the 2016 RFID Journal Awards will be accepted now through Jan. 29. The winners will be announced at this year’s RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition, being held on May 3-5, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Each winner will receive a crystal award at the event and be featured in RFID Journal’s digital magazine.

The conference will include four industry-specific tracks covering retail and apparel, manufacturing, health care and pharmaceuticals, and defense and aerospace. Four other tracks will focus on the latest innovations, technology and infrastructure, supply chain and logistics, and payment and authentication. In addition, LIVE! 2016 will provide six in-depth preconference seminars and workshops.

What’s more, LIVE! will feature four post-conferences, fast-track training presented by RFID4U, and two co-located events: the Internet of Things Conference and IEEE RFID 2016. The event will also offer exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the industry’s leading technology firms.

Attendees registering early will have the opportunity to save more than $500 off regular rates for the RFID industry’s most important conference and exhibition. Additional information regarding LIVE! 2016 can be found at www.rfidjournalevents.com/live.
