Fernando Ferreira Matos worked for 36 years at TAP Maintenance & Engineering, where he held several positions, including head of information technology. He was also in charge of the IT department of TAP affiliate TAP Maintenance & Engineering Brazil, and was responsible for the modernization of its IT infrastructure and the integration of operational systems between Portugal and Brazil. Fernando has been involved in the analysis and implementation of IT innovation technologies to support MRO processes, such as RFID and mobility systems. Recently retired from TAP, he is now an independent MRO consultant.
