A contractor to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (Greenbelt, MD), Basil Jeffers is the Lead Project Parts Engineer for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) project, coordinating the parts control program and leading the RFID implementation for JWST. A recipient of NASA’s Silver Achievement Medal, Basil graduated from Hampton University, is married to Debbie, and has three children and five grandchildren.
