By RFID Journal

The awards recognize those that have distinguished themselves by their use of RFID or their introduction of a new RFID product or service.

RFID Journal has announced that it is accepting submissions for the 2021  RFID Journal Awards, which recognize companies and organizations that have distinguished themselves by their successful use of radio frequency identification (RFID) or other Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, or by their introduction of a valuable new RFID or IoT product or service.

Last year's winners included  Grupo Boticário (Best Retail Implementation),  Volkswagen do Brasil (Best Manufacturing Implementation),  Johnson & Johnson (Best Health-Care Implementation) and  Lockheed Martin (Best Logistics/Supply Chain Implementation). For the full list, see  RFID Journal Announces Winners of Its 14th Annual RFID Journal Awards.

Each year, RFID Journal's editors select an independent panel of judges to evaluate entries and choose three finalists in each end-user category. The 20121 RFID Journal Awards winners will be announced at this year's  RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition, to be held on Sept. 26-28 in Phoenix, Ariz. Awards will be given in eight categories:

Special Achievement Award
Awarded to the individual who has best contributed to the RFID industry. It can be given to an end user, a researcher, a vendor, an inventor, a standards developer or anyone else who has contributed to the advancement of the entire RFID industry.

"Throughout the past 14 years, we have seen some incredible RFID and IoT projects," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "In spite of the difficulties all companies faced in 2020 due to the global pandemic, I am positive we will see some great submissions this year."

Awards submissions are due no later than June 30, 2021; there is no cost to submit an entry. The winners will receive their awards at RFID Journal LIVE! in September and will also be featured in an article posted on RFID Journal's website.
