How much are we talking about for, say, the next five years?
To be honest, I have no idea. In fact, I don't think anyone really does. At present, very few hotels are tracking linens via radio frequency identification. If RFID takes off in apparel retail, and if tag and reader costs come down, then adoption in other areas would likely accelerate. But it is difficult to say whether hotels will achieve enough value to make them want to adopt the technology.
