I have an idea for a new application of radio frequency identification. How should I go about researching its viability?

The best thing to do would probably be to contact an objective observer who knows RFID technology. There are consultants who would probably charge a few hundred dollars to discuss the idea, and a few thousand more to assist in developing it. Be sure to sign a confidentiality agreement before discussing anything with anyone, especially if you have not yet patented your idea. I would be happy to discuss the concept with you at no charge, and perhaps point you in the right direction.
