November 9, 2004—Next year Washington-based Intermec, a leader in RFID software and hardware solutions, will debut its IP3-FC/750 RFID reader that uses revolutionary new fuel cell technology to run for up to 30 hours before requiring a power cartridge replacement. The fuel cell technology, called Mobion, comes from Albany, New York-based MTI Micro and won a "Best of What's New" Award from Popular Science magazine.
