The organization will have a large presence at this week's Hannover Messe 2017 trade fair.

The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), the world’s leading organization, transforming business and society by accelerating the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and IIC members will have a large presence at the Hannover Messe 2017 trade fair on April 24 -28, 2017.

The IIC will exhibit in the IIC Pavilion, Hall 8, stand C24, hosting 12 IIC member companies presenting the latest innovations for the industrial Internet. Also on display in the IIC Pavilion will be a joint real-time security demonstration – a collaboration between over 20 IIC members and Plattform Industrie 4.0 partner companies – highlighting how multiple unique, existing security systems can be consolidated in a set of interacting industrial security systems, leveraging products and technologies available today.

Two testbed demonstrations will be on display:

• The Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) Testbed Demonstration, which applies TSN technology in a manufacturing system to display the new capabilities and value of TSN.
• The Security Claims Evaluation Testbed, which is designed to help manufacturers improve the security of their products.

The IIC will also collaborate with Plattform Industrie 4.0, the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) and the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI) in a week-long Forum entitled, “Industrie 4.0 Meets the Industrial Internet.” Numerous IIC members will speak at the Forum, which will include 50+ presentations, panels, and testbed presentations, providing the latest new trends and developments in the industrial Internet.
