Airbus and Boeing are collaborating to develop common part marking and RFID requirements. They will require Air Transport Association (ATA) SPEC 2000 automated identification and data capture guidelines as a standard commercial practice.

This collaborative effort is leading the way in advancing part marking and automated data collection standardization in Commercial Aviation.

Attend these educational programs so you can harness the benefits of RFID technology:

- Increase the accuracy of parts traceability through information exchanged between the airline industry and suppliers

- Diminish ownership costs by identifying rogue parts and minimizing airline inventories

- Improve airline configuration control by increasing the accuracy of the known

“as-delivered” configuration

- Reduce internal processing and cycle time to solve service-related problems
