Roelof Koopmans has been with Semtech since 2018 and and is based out of Rapperswil, Switzerland. Before joining the firm, Roelof held other positions in the IoT space, most recently as VP product marketing at Smartrac, a leading manufacturer of RFID and NFC tags was, and managing director Europe for MOJIX, a provider of passive RFID-based tracking solutions. Prior to that, Roelof was founder/CEO of Aspectra, Switzerland’s first dedicated hosting company, Business Unit manager for e-Commerce Solutions in Swisscom, and part of management team of Switzerland’s leading ISP, BlueWin. He has the Dutch nationality, and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Design and Engineering at the University Of Delft, Netherlands.
