May 18, 2022This week, the RFID Journal team is busily presenting our annual RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition. It's the world's largest conference and exhibition focused on radio frequency identification and related technologies, and it's being held in Las Vegas. At the event, attendees meet RFID vendors, end-user companies and industry insiders, and they come away with vital insights into the technology's uses. For those looking to deploy RFID and other Internet of Things solutions, or who are exploring its benefits and want to find out more, it's the best place to consult with the experts.
If you were unable to attend the conference, that doesn't mean RFID Journal can't still help you find the information you seek. All year round, RFID Journal's editors respond to reader-submitted questions via our Ask the Experts page. This forum was launched in 2009 (see A New Forum: Ask the Experts) after editor Mark Roberti noticed he was receiving email queries about radio frequency identification on an ever-increasing basis.
Mark's goal was to provide a new feature that would let readers ask questions related to various technologies, and to receive timely answers so that they wouldn't be flying blind with their deployment efforts. In the thirteen years since that launch, RFID Journal has published more than 2,700 Ask the Experts questions, along with reliable answers provided not only by the editorial team, but by the entire RFID community—vendor companies, industry analysts and those who utilize RFID technologies.
If you have a question you'd like to ask, feel free to submit it here. Our team will do our best to help you find the information you need to move forward with adoption, or to overcome the obstacles you face. Here are some recent questions we've posted to the Ask the Experts forum:
Rich Handley has been the managing editor of RFID Journal since 2005. Outside the RFID world, Rich has authored, edited or contributed to numerous books about pop culture.
