At the University of South Florida’s RFID Lab for Applied Research, Ultan McCarthy focuses on radio frequency identification from both application and cost-benefit perspectives. Mr. McCarthy also works in developing smart sensing systems across a variety of industrial sectors. He received his Ph.D. degree in biosystems engineering from University College Dublin (UCD), in Ireland.
