Three clothing-store operators will use Retailers Advantage’s Intelligent a3tag, which combines traditional electronic article surveillance technology with EPC Gen 2 RFID inlays, to track inventory and reduce shrinkage.
The provider of positioning and tracking solutions will incorporate ThingMagic’s EPC RFID technology into its own products for the construction and mobile services sectors, while ThingMagic will also continue to operate as an RFID reader and solutions provider, as a Trimble division.
The company will be the cornerstone sponsor for RFID Journal’s ninth major annual conference and exhibition, to be held on Apr. 12-14 in, Orlando, Fla.
